“Depth of Azure”

“Depths of Azure”-included are two beauties made of glass that combine color and artistry of design and workmanship. Slender vase/jug – designed by Wszewłod Sarnecki 1970s , created in Krosno Glassworks in Krosno. Blown soda glass, tinted with turquoise ear. Instead of further description, I will quote: “All of Poland drank from the glasses and goblets he designed for Krosno Glassworks, and the wives of party prominents regularly bought the local glassware for exclusive gifts. Stalin welcomed him to the Kremlin. He worked on the restoration of the Royal Castle in Warsaw. With talent and luck, he toured the world. The biography of Wszewlod Sarnecki is a story for a movie.”

The duo includes a striking flute vase from the 1970s. made of double-layered glass, a beautiful shade of turquoise plus a twist of glass, diffuse the light in an amazing way. A very unobvious and original duo, for someone who appreciates artistic and, of course, functional qualities.

Condition of the items very good, without manufacturing defects, scratches and losses.
